ShareCode is the Online Judge and the Social Network for the people who love algorithms, programming and challenges! Taskmaster: ShareCode Team Users can practice algorithms using hundreds of problems that already exist on ShareCode or they can attend contests that ShareCode hosts. Users can choose their programming language and compiler among C, C++, Java, Pascal, Python and Php. During the UT Summer of Code, a group of interested students are going to develop more awesome features for the ShareCode platform such as forum, user groups, code sharing, training course, size contests, etc. There are also some core tasks for example: improving judging core, working on SEO, refactoring the source code for better performance etc. Also some non-functional tasks exists that needed to be done for instance finding problem sets around the world and adding to the ShareCode archive for practice.
Every day, we use some social networks such as FaceBook, Twitter, but non of them is not academic. Also, Academic social networks such as LinkedIn and Edmodo. have some limitations. So, we decided to design and develop an academic social networks called "Notification Manager" for Massaging and sending some academic notifications via it. We will design a website using J2EE technologies and some frameworks such as Hibernate, Wicket. Also We will design and implement its Android application.
SIMAH (Mobile Messaging and Polling for the Green Organizations) is an integrated system developed at the Center for WMC to facilitate internal communications within organizations and conferences. SIMAH is provided as a SAAS (Software As A Service) product to the companies seeking for the easiest way to improve their internal and external communications. SIMAH mobile application was developed by J2ME for java-based mobiles and Symbian OS. SIMAH is a static software with a hard-coded content. For solving this problem, we will design and develop a website that makes the SIMAH dynamic. This website will be based on J2EE with mySQL database and using some frameworks such as Hibernate.
